Varicose vein treatment
The patient complained of severe varicose veins of both lower extremities with trophic skin changes that significantly limited physical activity.
The patient presented with complaints of excess skin along the medial upper arms following weight loss. The skin demonstrated significant laxity and redundant hanging tissue during movement, causing aesthetic discomfort and limiting clothing choices.
Brachioplasty was performed, involving excision of redundant skin along the medial aspect of the upper arms through an incision extending longitudinally along the arm. The procedure allowed correction of skin laxity and restoration of a more defined upper arm contour.
The arms achieved a firmer and more refined appearance, with complete correction of the redundant hanging skin. The postoperative scar is positioned along the medial upper arm and gradually becomes less conspicuous over time.
